Things to do in and around Horrabridge

Horrabridge is located within the Dartmoor National Park, 12 miles north of Plymouth and 4 miles south of Tavistock.

The Leaping Salmon rooms overlooks the river Walkham, famous for its salmon. The beautiful three-arched medieval bridge of Horrabridge was built in 1260, one of the oldest bridges in Devon, and can be seen from each of the pub rooms at The Leaping Salmon.

There is a public footpath that starts from the pub car park that takes you up onto the moors.

Drakes Trail, a 21-mile cycling and walking route that links Tavistock with Plymouth, is easily accessible from Horrabridge.

The Leaping Salmon was announced as the second-best pub for walkers in the South West by the Telegraph.
